Lead and manage a team of software engineers, fostering collaboration and promoting an open-minded discussion environment.

Drive continuous improvement in team productivity, product quality, and development processes. Provide career growth and development opportunities, including building succession plans.

Collaborate with Product Management, Security, and Compliance teams to deliver high-quality software. Provide technical leadership for design, architecture, and code reviews, embedding engineering best practices.

Determine staffing needs for scrum teams, facilitate necessary training, and oversee hiring processes for software engineers. Mentor and motivate engineers to enhance their technical skills and stay current with technology trends.

Conduct annual performance reviews and participate in campus and industry hiring drives. Ensure timely delivery of committed features and adherence to organizational policies.

Resolve customer issues within defined service level agreements and participate in scrum ceremonies. Empower engineers through clear delegation and support, acting as a coach and employee champion.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer engineering or an equivalent qualification is required.

Possess a minimum of 12 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity. Expertise in Java or C# is essential.

Demonstrate proficiency in designing complex solutions, conducting code reviews, and providing architectural input for cross-team projects. Familiarity with the testing pyramid, test plans, automation, code coverage, continuous integration, performance, and security testing is necessary.

Experience with agile methodologies and managing scrum teams is crucial. Ability to attract, recruit, and retain top talent, coupled with excellent problem-solving and communication skills, is expected.

Familiarity with monitoring team productivity, maximizing utilization, and driving the adoption of new technology trends and processes is important. Proven ability to enhance team engagement and foster a motivated work environment is key.
