As an Engineering Manager, you will balance technical leadership (70%), managerial duties (20%), and recruitment efforts (10%). Your role will involve leading multiple teams responsible for PI planning, production support, enhancements, and new development.

You will guide your teams through daily challenges, identify potential issues, and define infrastructure requirements in collaboration with Technical Program Managers. Close partnership with the Product Management team is essential for identifying upcoming work.

Key technical responsibilities include conducting code reviews, fostering technical growth within the team, managing technical debt, and owning technical backlogs. You will also coordinate with operations to ensure application operability and work with architects to challenge and refine designs. Owning the continuous refactoring of code and its planning is also a vital part of this role.

Furthermore, you will ensure 24/7 support for developed products and solutions, cultivate a positive and fun work atmosphere, and remain approachable and open to feedback. Navigating uncertainties and managing change while maintaining high team morale is crucial.

We are seeking individuals with exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly both verbally and in writing. A self-starter attitude is essential, with the ability to identify opportunities and implement effective solutions.

Proven ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve their best work is a must. You should possess a solid understanding and hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful web services, and Event Driven Architecture.

Experience in building and integrating scalable, high-performing web services is required. You should also be adept at identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities, coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
