As an Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of payments technology. This role offers a dynamic blend of technical leadership, team management, and strategic planning to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Lead and mentor two cross-functional engineering teams, overseeing PI Planning, production support, enhancements, and fresh development initiatives. Provide daily guidance to teams, identify potential roadblocks, and collaborate with Technical Program Managers for infrastructure requirements. Drive technical excellence through code reviews, technical grooming, and owning technical backlogs. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment where fun and open feedback are encouraged.

Manage technical inputs, coordinating with operations for operability and challenging architectural designs. Oversee the continuous refactoring of code and maintain a plan for its execution. Ensure 24x7 support for developed products and solutions. Navigate uncertainties and evolving requirements while maintaining high team morale.

We are seeking individuals with exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly. A self-starter attitude is essential, with a proven ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions. You must be adept at motivating teams and inspiring high performance.

Requires solid, hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful web services, and Event Driven Architecture. Experience in building and integrating scalable, high-performing web services is crucial. Proficiency in identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is expected. The role involves engaging with and managing software engineers, including task planning and code reviews.
