As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. You'll provide strategic and technical direction for applications and systems, focusing on scalable, high-quality platform solutions and service-oriented architectures. Key responsibilities include leading feature planning, scoping, and execution to ensure alignment with business objectives, and serving as a senior technical resource to guide development best practices.

Drive the automation and scaling of data platforms across cloud and on-prem environments, with deep expertise in databases, data warehousing, and data cataloging. You will also enforce engineering excellence through rigorous code reviews and the adoption of innovative technologies to manage rapidly growing datasets. Owning the delivery of assigned initiatives, you will ensure quality and timeliness while collaborating closely with product, architecture, operations, and business teams. Effective vendor management and SOW engagements are also part of this role, ensuring performance and delivery accountability.

We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in leading, coaching, and scaling high-performing software development teams across diverse locations and levels. A minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in Data Warehousing, Data Analytics, or Data Cataloging is required, including 1-3 years in a management or team leadership capacity.

Essential skills include strong collaboration across business units, translating business needs into technical solutions, and developing strategic roadmaps aligned with customer and business goals. Hands-on full-stack engineering experience in agile, production environments is crucial. Deep expertise in databases, data warehousing, and Informatica is expected. The ability to design and implement scalable, high-impact solutions, build modular architectures with single-responsibility services and API-driven designs, and automate complex data pipelines is vital. Familiarity with web and server-side technologies, including microservices, is required, with experience in modern OOP languages like Java being a plus. A passion for analytical problem-solving, strong communication skills, and experience with CI/CD practices for large-scale production systems are also highly valued.
