Lead comprehensive SAP testing initiatives, encompassing functional, automated, and performance aspects across SAP transformation, implementation, upgrade, and ongoing application management projects. This role is pivotal in establishing robust test strategies, effective governance, delivery assurance, and clear quality reporting, ultimately guiding release-readiness recommendations. You will contribute to building standardized capabilities within the SAP Testing Centre of Excellence, fostering a culture of quality and efficiency.

Define and implement the overarching SAP test strategy, encompassing all facets of functional and non-functional testing, governance protocols, quality gates, environment management, test data handling, resource allocation, and reporting mechanisms.

Direct System Integration Testing, end-to-end scenarios, regression cycles, data migration validation, security assessments, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and final production-readiness checks.

Establish the performance testing framework, detailing workload models, test scenarios, acceptance criteria, necessary environments, and monitoring requirements.

Oversee various performance testing types, including baseline, load, stress, volume, endurance, scalability, and batch performance testing, focusing on critical SAP business processes and integrations.

Translate complex business volumes into precise, realistic performance scenarios that accurately reflect user concurrency, transaction mixes, data volumes, expected response times, system throughput, and batch window constraints.

Orchestrate test planning and execution across diverse SAP teams, including functional, technical, integration, data, security, Basis, infrastructure, automation, and business units.

Implement comprehensive requirement traceability, risk-based test coverage strategies, clear entry and exit criteria, robust defect management processes, and transparent release-readiness reporting.

Analyze performance test results to identify and resolve bottlenecks across SAP applications, HANA databases, integrations, infrastructure components, network configurations, and custom developments.

Deliver executive-level reports on test progress, defect trends, performance-related risks, interdependencies, remediation priorities, and overall go-live readiness assessments.

Develop and implement the automation and continuous testing strategy, ensuring seamless integration with Agile and DevOps delivery pipelines.

Create and maintain reusable SAP test assets, automation libraries, standardized workload models, adaptable templates, insightful dashboards, accurate estimation models, and comprehensive governance standards for the Testing CoE.

Actively participate in SAP proposal development, client workshops, effort estimations, and testing solution presentations, showcasing expertise and strategic thinking.

Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team of test leads, automation engineers, performance testers, and test analysts.

Possess extensive experience in enterprise application testing, including demonstrated leadership on SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA programs.

Proven track record managing System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, test automation initiatives, and end-to-end business process testing.

Solid understanding of performance test planning, workload modeling, scripting, execution, monitoring, and detailed results analysis.

Familiarity with SAP architecture, HANA, Fiori, integrations, background job processing, and critical application performance considerations.

Substantial experience in test governance, effective risk management, meticulous defect management, rigorous requirements traceability, and thorough quality gate assessments.

Experience leading and managing distributed teams, as well as collaborating effectively with senior business and technology stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience in developing compelling proposals, accurately estimating efforts, and designing robust testing solutions.

Preferred Methodology Experience includes SAP Activate, Risk-based and requirements-based testing, Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models. Familiarity with Shift-left and continuous testing principles, Business-process and impact-based regression testing, various performance testing types (load, stress, volume, endurance, scalability), workload modeling and performance engineering, DevOps and CI/CD-aligned quality engineering, and ISTQB testing principles is highly valued.

Preferred Tool Experience includes SAP Cloud ALM or SAP Solution Manager, Tricentis Tosca, OpenText UFT, ALM and LoadRunner, Apache JMeter or Tricentis NeoLoad, SAP HANA Cockpit and SAP monitoring tools, and Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana or Splunk.

Educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related discipline. Certifications such as ISTQB, SAP Activate, Agile, performance-testing, automation-tool, or project-management are considered advantageous.
