A seasoned SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) Consultant is sought to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on designing and implementing innovative PaPM solutions that drive value-driven insights through sophisticated modeling of profitability, performance, and cost allocations. The ideal candidate possesses a blend of deep functional finance knowledge and strong SAP technical expertise, relishing the challenge of solving complex business issues within the enterprise technology landscape.

Key duties include developing, configuring, and enhancing SAP PaPM solutions to meet agreed business requirements, aligning with finance and performance objectives. You will design and implement intricate cost and revenue allocation processes, alongside driver-based models. This position involves troubleshooting issues, proposing creative solutions, and collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into detailed specifications. Ensuring seamless integration with various SAP systems (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAC, BPC, FICO, PCM, BO) and non-SAP platforms is crucial. Responsibilities also extend to building robust data models, defining calculation logic and allocation scenarios, optimizing model performance, and participating in end-to-end implementations. Effective stakeholder management across diverse geographies and the mentorship of junior team members are also key aspects of this role.

A minimum of 7 years in consulting or IT is required, with at least 3-4 years specifically dedicated to hands-on SAP PaPM experience. Essential skills include a strong understanding of profitability analysis, cost allocations, transfer pricing, and performance modeling. Prior implementation experience with SAP PaPM and familiarity with SAP BW, SAP HANA, SAP BPC, or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) are necessary. A solid grasp of SAP architecture, processes, and data structures is expected, alongside technical proficiency in SQL scripting, SAP HANA modeling, and ABAP exposure. Excellent English communication skills, coupled with proven experience in global, cross-cultural project teams, are vital. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management abilities are paramount. Completing a minimum of two full-cycle SAP PaPM implementations is highly preferred.
