This role is for a Manager specializing in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) within the Metals, Mining and Industrial sector. The position is based in Bengaluru, India, and is part of Deloitte.

As a manager, you will be instrumental in defining and executing the SAP MDG strategy, ensuring its alignment with business objectives. This includes leading implementation, enhancement, and support for SAP MDG solutions across critical master data domains.

Your responsibilities will encompass establishing robust master data processes, policies, and standards. You will partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure master data meets strategic and regulatory requirements, championing data quality and consistency across the enterprise.

Key duties involve driving process standardization, managing the demand intake and release planning cycles, and coordinating with various technical and functional teams for end-to-end data governance. You will also oversee operational support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives, while defining and monitoring performance metrics.

A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in SAP master data, data governance, or enterprise applications is required. Specifically, you need at least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP MDG solution ownership or implementation.

Proven success in delivering enterprise master data governance initiatives and managing global stakeholders is essential. Experience with diverse master data domains such as Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material, or Product is also a prerequisite. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is mandatory; SAP certifications are preferred.
