We are seeking an experienced Manager with expertise in SAP FICO to join our team in Bengaluru. This role is crucial for our Oil, Gas, and Utilities sector, focusing on financial reporting and analysis within SAP.

This position requires a deep understanding of business needs and the ability to translate them into functional specifications. You will play a key role in ensuring our SAP solutions effectively meet business requirements and drive project success.

Key responsibilities include understanding and assessing business requirements, evaluating business impact, and identifying dependencies. You will translate these needs into detailed functional specifications, clearly defining document flow within business processes.

This role involves setting clear customer expectations regarding project outcomes and managing scope changes effectively. You will also be responsible for creating functional unit test scripts, validating solutions to ensure they meet business needs, and actively participating in application, role-based, and load testing.

Furthermore, you will support testing teams and business users across various testing stages, including integration testing, single functional testing, and user acceptance testing. Ensuring traceability from data needs and requirements through to training and transition is also a critical aspect of this role. You will validate and categorize reported incidents, providing functional support to the development team for issue resolution in lower environments.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including at least 8 years of specialized experience in SAP Finance. Expertise in creating report mockups/wireframes and mapping files is essential.

Strong proficiency in SAP ERP, relational database concepts, and data model design is required. Candidates should also possess a solid understanding of various visualization tools such as Fiori Analytical floorplans, SAC, WebI, and Analysis for Office.

A foundational knowledge of data management frameworks and practices, including data analytics, integration, quality, and governance, is also necessary. Familiarity with Business Intelligence technologies and experience with Agile Scrum methodology and Azure DevOps are considered optional but beneficial.
