Join Deloitte's Cyber Strategy & Transformation team in Bengaluru as a Manager in Risk Management. This role is pivotal in helping organizations build robust cyber defenses and manage risks effectively to unlock new opportunities. We are seeking cybersecurity experts with a strong background in Cyber Risk, Security Controls, and technology enablement to drive significant transformation initiatives.
This position focuses on enhancing cyber resilience, governance, and overall security maturity. You will collaborate with senior leaders across cybersecurity, technology, risk, and business units to translate strategic cyber priorities into actionable plans with measurable results. Lead comprehensive assessments of cybersecurity capabilities and control effectiveness, identifying key areas for improvement. Provide subject matter expertise in evaluating control descriptions, standards, frameworks (including risk management and NFR frameworks), and risk environments.
Engage proactively with stakeholders, control owners, and subject matter experts to implement enhancements and drive improvements in controls. Assist in maintaining the Risk & Control inventory, ensuring alignment with global standards and frameworks.
Manage application risk and governance, track vulnerabilities, and oversee remediation efforts. Coordinate with security, risk, and QA teams, and update governance documentation for applications. Prepare and manage requirements for application enhancements and upgrades, working closely with vendor teams and internal departments.
This role requires professionals with a Bachelor's or Master's degree and proven experience in cybersecurity, particularly in Cyber Risk, Security Controls, and Cyber Capability Development.
Key responsibilities include conducting reviews, providing expert guidance on control frameworks, and managing application risk. The ability to translate cybersecurity priorities into actionable roadmaps and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders is essential.
Experience in managing application risk, tracking vulnerabilities, and coordinating with internal teams for feature enhancements and platform upgrades is expected. A strong understanding of product management principles, including creating roadmaps and managing product backlogs, is also beneficial.
