This role is for a strategic thinker and collaborative team player passionate about doing the right thing. You'll work globally and cross-functionally to combat abuse and fraud with urgency, promoting trust and ensuring high levels of user safety.
In this position, you will lead the charge on broad, ecosystem-level abuse-fighting initiatives, crafting trusted experiences. You will design strategies and solutions by leveraging business judgment, AI foresight, and expertise in technical, legal, business, and policy domains.
As a thought leader, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex projects, reinforcing the foundations of policy lifecycle management. Your work will ensure policy intent is accurately translated into execution and clearly communicated to all audiences. You will also drive operational excellence in policy launches, consultations, and communications, optimizing scalable business processes to enhance customer experience and mitigate global harm.
Strengthening global partnerships with leaders in Product, Engineering, Policy, Public Affairs, and Sales will be key. You will integrate diverse viewpoints, ensure alignment on high-stakes objectives, and simplify extreme complexity for various stakeholders.
Lead a global team of Policy Implementation and Communications specialists, defining, aligning, and tracking progress on team strategy and OKRs.
Architect and deliver scalable, next-generation Trust and Safety strategies for Ads and Shopping policy implementation and communications across multiple business areas. This includes addressing high-risk user harm, scams, elections, personalized ads, business growth enablement, customer experience, and regulatory compliance.
Lead strategic cross-functional initiatives by advancing key relationships with senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, Customer Support, Legal, PR, and Public Policy. Your role will involve shaping policy roadmaps, rolling out policy updates, and managing large-scale programs, exercising influence without direct authority.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Possess 13 years of experience in data analytics, cybersecurity, program management, business strategy, technology research, anti-abuse, policy, or a related field.
Demonstrate 5 years of experience in people management, including leading teams, hiring, mentoring, and retaining talent across global locations.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's or PhD in a relevant field. You should be proficient in stakeholder management and executive influence, adept at persuading senior leaders, building trusted relationships, bridging divergent interests, and exercising sound judgment under pressure. Translating complex issues into simple, clear language is essential.
Advanced AI fluency is highly desirable, requiring an understanding of core AI concepts and experience leading teams that design innovative, AI-native products and workflows to inform strategic decisions. Familiarity with key internet policy issues such as intellectual property, misinformation, privacy, free expression, and online safety is also preferred, showcasing capabilities for redefining approaches to their complexities.
