As a Manager in Playwright Automation, you will design, develop, and maintain advanced automation frameworks for both UI and API testing.
Key responsibilities include executing UI automation with tools like Playwright, developing comprehensive API automation suites, and analyzing requirements to identify optimal test scenarios for automation. You will also be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and debugging automation scripts to ensure their stability and scalability.
Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with product, development, and QA teams, actively participate in test planning and automation strategy, and integrate automation tests within CI/CD pipelines. Reporting and validating defects, along with ensuring adherence to quality standards, are also crucial aspects of this role.
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with 9-12 years of experience, possessing strong hands-on expertise in UI and API automation testing, with a preference for Playwright.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is essential, alongside robust experience with SQL and database testing, including familiarity with databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL. Experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline integration (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and strong proficiency in version control systems like Git are also required.
A solid understanding of test case design, identifying automation candidates, and script maintenance is vital. Familiarity with the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies is expected.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills are a must. The ability to work independently and mentor junior team members is highly valued. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required for this position.
