- Drive the platform team's roadmap, enforcing compatibility, versioning, and safe rollout policies for shared services and SDKs. - Establish and maintain team-level observability baselines, including SLOs and error budgets, ensuring compliance during releases. - Coordinate cross-team incident response for platform-related issues, prioritizing downstream consumer safety and defining clear remediation paths. - Oversee the design, development, testing, and optimization of software solutions, identifying and analyzing requirements. - Coach and guide the team in developing new software features and enhancements, ensuring adherence to design specifications and accessibility standards. - Lead code reviews to foster improvements and conduct debugging and troubleshooting to resolve software issues. - Ensure the implementation of comprehensive software testing, quality assurance processes, and robust error logging and monitoring. - Leverage experience for performance profiling and optimization of code, and guide the team in resolving API functionality and integration issues. - Manage API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies.
