This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions, helping clients navigate critical business activities from initial planning through post-transaction restructuring. The team provides end-to-end solutions, driving performance across key M&A functions.
We are seeking professionals to offer both advisory and deployment services, delivering comprehensive solutions to clients for critical business functions. This involves continuous development in our Strategy, Risk, and Transactions M&A: Deal Transformation and Post Merger Integration practice.
As a Manager, you will significantly contribute to engagement teams by assisting financial services clients, particularly in banking, with organization readiness and integration or carve-outs in M&A scenarios.
Key responsibilities include: - Developing separation strategies and assessing readiness for carve-outs. - Evaluating financial and operational interdependencies and defining operating models for restructured entities. - Leading integration management offices (IMOs) for end-to-end program management. - Assessing IT landscapes, identifying synergies/dis-synergies, and optimizing IT spend. - Conducting commercial and operational diligence, evaluating deal feasibility, and identifying transformation opportunities. - Facilitating the execution of post-deal integration of IT operations and organizational structures.
We are looking for candidates with demonstrated experience in large transformations, including pre-deal or post-deal M&A transactions within the financial services or banking sector. A strong understanding of the banking value chain and experience within banking functions, either as an advisor or practitioner, is essential.
Ideal candidates will possess: - 3-12 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, preferably banking. - Excellent academic credentials, with an MBA being preferred. - Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. - Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. - Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor junior team members. - A proactive approach and a willingness to learn independently. - A relevant understanding of the financial services technology landscape would be a significant advantage. This role requires willingness and ability to travel.
