Our Mergers & Acquisitions team specializes in strategizing, designing, and executing successful transactions. We support clients in optimizing project management, commercial activities, operations, supply chain, IT systems, human capital, and finance. By developing our Strategy, Risk, and Transactions professionals, we deliver unparalleled value in the financial services and banking sectors.

As a key member of our engagement team, you will primarily support financial services clients, particularly in the banking sector, with organization readiness and integration or carve-outs within M&A scenarios.

Your responsibilities will include: - Driving organization readiness post-deal integration by understanding integration visions, defining guiding principles with C-suite executives, and establishing target operating models. - Supporting integration through Day 1/100 readiness planning, IT landscape assessment, vendor evaluation, and IT spend analysis. - Developing separation strategies, assessing readiness, identifying operating models for restructured entities, and managing Separation Management Offices. - Conducting commercial and operational diligence, assessing deal feasibility, identifying risks, and defining functional integration plans. - Assessing potential synergies and dis-synergies, defining roadmaps for their delivery, and working with functional leads on realization.

We are seeking candidates with demonstrated experience in large transformations, specifically pre-deal or post-deal M&A transactions within the Financial Services or banking industry. A strong understanding of the banking value chain from a business perspective is essential.

Ideal candidates will possess a keen interest in consulting and 3 to 12 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with the technology landscape of FS/banking organizations will be a significant advantage. Excellent academic credentials, including undergraduate and graduate coursework, are required, with an MBA being preferred.

Proficiency in advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, coupled with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, is crucial. We also value leadership qualities, the ability to mentor junior team members, and a proactive approach to learning and taking initiative. This role may involve travel.
