Define comprehensive enterprise data-platform architectures and roadmaps using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services. Assess business needs, current architectures, data landscapes, and migration priorities to inform strategic decisions. Select and implement appropriate architectural patterns across Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Data Engineering, Power BI, and other Azure data services. Establish domain-oriented data architectures, including medallion layers, data products, and semantic models. Develop and enforce architecture principles, engineering standards, security controls, and governance frameworks. Lead platform sizing, capacity planning, workload management, and cost optimization efforts. Define detailed requirements for identity, access, networking, encryption, privacy, and business continuity. Create and manage migration strategies for legacy systems and cloud-based data platforms. Oversee architecture reviews, design authorities, and technical risk assessments. Provide guidance and mentorship to senior engineers and architects, fostering organizational capability. Lead technical proposals, estimations, solution presentations, and client workshops. Engage effectively with senior stakeholders across business, data, security, and infrastructure teams.

Extensive experience architecting enterprise cloud data and analytics platforms is mandatory. Demonstrate deep expertise in Microsoft Azure data services and Microsoft Fabric architecture. Possess strong knowledge of key components like OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Spark, Delta Lake, Power BI, and real-time processing. Exhibit a solid understanding of enterprise data architecture, data mesh, data products, dimensional modeling, and metadata management. Proven expertise in security architecture, including Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, managed identities, private networking, and secrets management. Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and observability models. Demonstrated capability in capacity planning, performance engineering, cost management, and workload optimization. Experience leading large data migration or modernization programs is essential. Strong stakeholder communication, technical governance, estimation, and leadership skills are required. Ability to articulate technology options and architectural trade-offs clearly.
