Lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge data modernization and migration solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Azure.

This leadership role involves defining robust architectures for Lakehouse, Warehouse, and data serving layers, alongside developing sophisticated ingestion frameworks. You will be instrumental in establishing best practices for development, optimization, and secure access patterns.

Your expertise will drive the migration of existing data platforms to Microsoft Fabric, ensuring seamless transitions and enhanced performance. Mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams will be key aspects of this position.

Spearhead end-to-end delivery of Microsoft Fabric and Azure data solutions, translating business needs into scalable technical designs.

Define comprehensive Lakehouse, Warehouse, and data-serving architectures, including ingestion frameworks for various data patterns (batch, CDC, streaming).

Establish coding standards, optimize Fabric and Spark performance, and design secure access using Microsoft Entra ID and related services.

Implement CI/CD pipelines, manage deployments, and lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance remediation efforts.

Guide migrations from Azure Synapse, ADF, Power BI, Databricks, or legacy systems to Fabric, while mentoring engineers and conducting technical enablement sessions.

Requires strong hands-on experience in Azure data engineering and Microsoft Fabric, with advanced SQL, Python, and PySpark skills.

Possess extensive experience with Lakehouse, One Lake, Delta Lake, Data Factory, Fabric Warehouse, and Power BI integration, along with a deep understanding of Spark optimization.

Demonstrate expertise in dimensional modeling, data warehousing, CI/CD, Git, and cloud security best practices, including access management and data governance.

Proven ability to lead production implementations, resolve complex incidents, estimate work, identify risks, and guide technical teams.
