Join our dynamic International Capability Centre (ICC) Deal Transformation & Post Merger Integration Team within Deloitte's Strategy, Risk and Transactions (SRT) Mergers & Acquisitions offering. This is a prime opportunity for an ambitious and results-oriented professional to make a significant impact. You will contribute to pivotal projects, guiding clients through critical HR challenges in the M&A landscape and advancing your career in a data-driven transaction environment.
This role offers a collaborative, high-performance team setting where you can leverage your HR expertise to deliver exceptional client outcomes. If you are passionate about driving results and eager to apply your skills in a fast-paced M&A context, this position is an excellent fit.
Key responsibilities include conducting thorough IT due diligence, analyzing target company IT landscapes, identifying risks, and providing strategic recommendations to support investment decisions. Post-acquisition, you will ensure seamless IT integration, develop Day 1/Day 100 plans, and identify synergies. You will also research industry trends, benchmark IT costs, and manage supplier contracts. Contributing to business development by assisting in pursuits and pitches, and interfacing with senior client and internal stakeholders, is also integral to this role.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate information and deliver high-quality M&A work products. Guiding team members and driving service excellence are also expected.
We seek candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Business, HR, Finance, or Statistics. A minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience in HR consulting, with a specialization in M&A aspects like due diligence, integration, or carve-outs, is required. Strong Excel skills for data manipulation and excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential.
Preferred qualifications include prior experience with Big-4 consulting firms, IT M&A teams, or M&A boutique firms, particularly on private equity transactions. Familiarity with the M&A lifecycle, post-merger integration planning, and an understanding of IT domains like application development, cloud, infrastructure, or cybersecurity are highly valued. Knowledge of business applications such as ERP systems and corporate functions is also advantageous.
