Join EY as a Manager in our GBS/GCC Advisory team and shape the future of global business services. You will guide clients in establishing robust Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services Centres (SSC) frameworks, focusing on functional aspects and driving performance improvement initiatives. This role involves detailed analysis of finance processes, identifying pain points, and developing innovative solutions for a diverse, international client base across various industries.

Key responsibilities include supporting GBS/SSC setup activities such as activity analysis, cost baselining, location assessment, and business case creation. You will also be involved in Target Model design and possess working knowledge of Business Transition assignments. Participate actively in proposals, solutions, and RFP/RFI responses to secure new clients. Be prepared to work according to global client timings and leverage experience in finance functions or sectors like Banking, Insurance, Wealth Asset Management, and Supply Chain. This includes hands-on experience with account reconciliations, journals, transaction matching, variance analysis, intercompany accounting, and fixed asset management. Strong accounting skills and a deep understanding of financial reports and statements are essential, along with knowledge of financial consolidation, cost allocation, finance planning, budgeting, and the financial close process.

To excel in this role, you must possess a Commerce Graduate degree or an MBA (Finance). Other professional qualifications like CPA, CFA, or CMA may be considered with relevant work experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Business Transition, GBS, or SSC setup activities is required. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is a mandatory requirement. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for interpreting financial standards and developing creative solutions for client RFPs and RFIs. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with the ability to articulate messages to various audiences are necessary. You should be flexible, adaptable, able to work effectively at all levels of an organization, and capable of influencing others towards a common goal.
