Key responsibilities include managing the month-end close process, preparing and reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. You will also oversee prepaid amortization schedules and research cash transactions for compliance. This role involves partnering with internal teams on ad-hoc projects, identifying process improvements through automation, and managing global business solutions personnel.

Additional duties encompass supporting external audit requirements and working non-standard hours to accommodate relevant time zones. Experience in P&C insurance and with financial systems like Oracle, HFM, Blackline, and Clearwater is highly preferred.

A strong understanding of financial accounting principles is essential, including experience with month-end close procedures and balance sheet reconciliations. Candidates should be adept at managing prepaid amortization schedules and ensuring accuracy in cash transaction coding.

Collaboration with internal business partners is crucial. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements, potentially through automation. Experience managing teams and supporting external audit functions is also valuable. While not strictly required, P&C insurance experience and familiarity with Oracle, HFM, Blackline, and Clearwater systems are considered strong advantages. A CA qualification or equivalent is preferred.
