As an ESG Manager, you will spearhead business development efforts across ESG services, from identifying opportunities to converting them into successful projects. You will manage the complete proposal development cycle and client pitches, adapting global expertise to local client needs. Building and maintaining robust client relationships will be key to driving account growth and identifying cross-selling opportunities.

Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end ESG and decarbonization engagements, such as ESG reporting, GHG accounting, climate risk assessments, and net-zero strategy development. You will oversee project planning, resource management, and ensure the quality of deliverables. Providing technical expertise on ESG frameworks like GRI, BRSR, TCFD, and CDP will be crucial. You'll also mentor junior team members and serve as a primary client contact, ensuring project objectives are met.

We are seeking a candidate with a B.E./B.Tech. degree (Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical) and an M.E./M.Tech./MBA (Energy/Climate/Sustainability), coupled with over 10 years of experience in energy management, climate action, ESG, decarbonization, and sustainability. Experience within the Iron & Steel sector is highly desirable.

Demonstrated expertise in ESG ratings, due diligence, climate risk, energy efficiency, and emissions management is essential. Strong business acumen, client-centricity, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities are required. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, technical writing, and presentation skills, along with proficiency in MS Office Suite, are necessary. The role requires a self-driven, adaptable, and innovative individual who can stay abreast of evolving ESG regulations and sustainability trends.
