Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining highly available AWS infrastructure across multi-account and multi-region setups. You will spearhead Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, manage Amazon EKS clusters, and develop custom Kubernetes controllers. Collaboration with development, security, and architecture teams is essential, as is mentoring junior engineers to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.

Additionally, you will define multi-cloud architecture best practices and independently drive complex infrastructure solutions from conception to completion.

The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying intricate technical concepts to diverse audiences. A proven track record of analyzing ambiguous problems and delivering pragmatic solutions is crucial, alongside a methodical approach to debugging and root-cause analysis.

Essential technical expertise includes hands-on experience with Terraform for production-grade configurations and AWS resource provisioning. Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and EKS administration, including cluster upgrades and day-2 operations, is required. Proficiency in Helm chart authoring and troubleshooting, alongside experience with Istio for production environments, is expected. A comprehensive understanding of core AWS services like VPC, EC2, S3, and API Gateway is also vital.
