You will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the evolution of our services, requiring a strategic approach to complex cloud environments.

Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining robust infrastructure across multi-account, multi-region AWS environments, and leading Infrastructure as Code initiatives with Terraform. You will manage and evolve Amazon EKS clusters, develop and maintain custom Kubernetes controllers and operators, and champion multi-cloud architecture best practices.

Additionally, you will tackle ambiguous infrastructure challenges, collaborating closely with development, security, and architecture teams. Effective communication of complex technical ideas to diverse audiences is crucial. You will also mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and improvement within the team.

Essential skills encompass strong communication abilities for presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven problem-solving acumen with a methodical approach to debugging and root-cause analysis is expected. Candidates should possess a growth mindset, actively learning from incidents and staying abreast of industry advancements.

In-depth experience with Terraform for production-grade configurations and reusable modules, Kubernetes and EKS administration (including cluster upgrades and day-2 operations), and Helm chart authoring for complex workloads are critical. Proficiency with Istio deployment and operation, alongside extensive AWS experience (EKS, VPC, EC2, S3, API Gateway, Route 53, ACM, PCA, networking concepts, TLS, mTLS, PKI) is required.
