Drive technical and architectural discussions, offering strategic direction and decision-making. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is required, coupled with 6-8 years of individual contributor experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering. You must have at least 4 years of experience managing data or software teams and a proven history of successfully delivering large, complex projects. Exceptional communication skills are essential for maintaining critical cross-functional relationships. Experience with large-scale, high-performance data processing systems (batch and streaming) is crucial, alongside strong people management skills and experience leading agile teams. A passion for talent development and driving technical excellence, innovation, and quality is a must. Familiarity with public cloud platforms like AWS, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, S3, Databricks, Spark/Spark-Streaming is expected.
