Seeking a seasoned Camunda Developer/Workflow Architect with 8-12 years of software engineering expertise. This role requires deep knowledge in enterprise workflow orchestration, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures. The position involves providing technical leadership for Camunda-based solutions, encompassing architecture, process design, integration strategies, implementation standards, deployment, scalability, and production operations.

The ideal candidate will drive the technical vision for Camunda 8 solutions across their entire lifecycle, from initial business requirements to production support and optimization. This leadership extends to establishing reusable architectural patterns and development standards, guiding multiple project teams.

Define and architect enterprise-scale Camunda 8 workflow solutions. Design complex BPMN 2.0 processes and establish modeling standards. Develop workflow orchestration patterns using Zeebe, workers, connectors, APIs, and events. Determine boundaries between Camunda processes, microservices, RPA, and business rules. Create highly available, scalable, and resilient workflow solutions. Define patterns for retries, error handling, compensation, and long-running processes. Design event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar technologies. Lead integration architecture across various systems, including APIs, databases, ERP/CRM, and messaging queues. Establish strategies for process versioning, deployment, and migration. Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices for BPMN/DMN deployment. Design and review Camunda 8 SaaS and Self-Managed architectures. Work with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, cloud platforms, and observability tools. Troubleshoot production issues, analyze performance, and plan capacity. Define security, authorization, audit, and governance for workflow solutions. Evaluate and integrate RPA and AI-agent based solutions as needed. Mentor developers and conduct architecture/design reviews. Collaborate with enterprise architects, product owners, and business stakeholders.

A minimum of 8-12 years in software engineering is essential. Extensive hands-on experience with Camunda 8 is a must. Expertise in BPMN 2.0 is required. Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot. Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems. Experience with REST/API and event-driven architectures. Familiarity with Kafka or equivalent messaging technology. Good grasp of SQL and relational databases. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is necessary. Proficiency in CI/CD and DevOps practices.
