As a Manager in Valuations, you will cultivate strong client and team relationships, consistently exceeding expectations. Your role involves supporting all facets of valuation engagements, including:

- Rapidly grasping industry dynamics, company operations, and key business drivers. - Analyzing financial statements, annual reports, and other relevant business information. - Executing and assisting with a range of valuation exercises, from business valuations to M&A-related asset valuations. - Developing complex valuation models and preparing high-quality reports within deadlines. - Supporting valuation practices across Deloitte's member firms in Canada, the UK, Australia, the Middle East, and Europe. - Conducting thorough financial and accounting data analysis. - Performing industry and economic research to inform valuation reports. - Collaborating with international engagement teams and contributing to high-profile projects.

To excel in this role, a strong foundation in business modeling services and professional expertise is essential. Key qualifications include:

- A proven track record of academic excellence. - A minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in valuations. - Prior experience with Big 4 firms or leading investment banks is advantageous. - Deep understanding of financial and valuation principles. - Expertise in purchase price allocation and goodwill/intangible impairment testing under IFRS. - Proven financial modeling experience, specifically in building valuation models. - Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and a proactive approach to learning. - Familiarity with research databases such as CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, Factiva, and Thomson. - Excellent analytical, project management, and teamwork skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, coupled with systematic problem-solving skills. - A passion for dynamic environments and an inquisitive mindset for client service excellence. - Occasional travel to client locations may be required.
