EY Consulting is seeking a Manager for its Business Consulting Risk practice in Bangalore, focusing on the Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. You will be instrumental in building a differentiated Process Advisory and Data Analytics capability, working at the intersection of internal audit, enterprise controls, SAP data architecture, and advanced analytics. Lead advisory and analytics for process mining engagements, defining objectives and business impact. Design and own data models for process mining, identifying relevant SAP tables and defining event log structures. Build value cases for key use cases like DSO reduction and maverick spend identification. Conduct conformance and variant analysis, translating findings into executive-ready narratives. Present findings to CXOs and GCC leadership, driving action and value realization. Support pre-sales activities, including solution design, scoping, and proposal writing. Mentor junior consultants on SAP data architecture, controls logic, and analytical thinking.

This practitioner role requires 6-12 years of experience in internal audit, enterprise controls, risk advisory, or financial process consulting, with a strong preference for Big 4 or mid-tier backgrounds. A CA/CPA/CIA/CFE qualification is strongly preferred, or an MBA with 6+ years in relevant fields. Deep working knowledge of SAP ERP tables and data structures is essential, alongside experience with IFC/ICFR design, testing, SOX compliance, or controls-based audit engagements. Strong SQL skills and comfort with large datasets are necessary. You must possess a data and analytics orientation with experience in data extraction, transformation, visualization, and interpretation, and the ability to connect data findings to tangible business outcomes. Consulting-grade communication skills are paramount.
