This role is within our Actuarial Services team, specializing in Global Market Business Consulting Risk within General Insurance. The team provides expert advice to clients on critical areas such as reserving, pricing, M&A support, capital requirements, solvency frameworks, IFRS reporting, business planning, reinsurance optimization, and regulatory compliance.

You will execute projects within the Actuarial domain, supporting multi-disciplinary EY teams on client engagements. Key responsibilities include managing reserving, product development and pricing, statutory reporting, solvency assessment, IFRS17 implementation, and business planning. You'll build sophisticated Excel models reflecting client product features and regulations.

Additionally, you will contribute to research and specialized work, developing cutting-edge proposals to win new business. Collaboration is key, as you'll work to establish consistent standards and best practices. Sharing knowledge effectively, contributing to EY's wider opportunities, and presenting technical expertise internally and externally are also vital aspects of this role.

We seek Actuaries with proven experience in the Indian or Global insurance market. Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines with high quality. A minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience in General Insurance (Actuarial domain) and passing at least four actuarial exams are essential.

Key qualifications include a strong understanding of actuarial concepts and methodologies, working knowledge of tools such as R, Python, SAS, and SQL, and familiarity with the IFRS17 accounting standard. Excellent communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills are expected. Adaptability, creativity, and a practical, outcome-focused approach to problem-solving are highly valued.
