This role is within our General Insurance – Domestic/Global Market – Business Consulting Risk – Actuarial team, focusing on advising clients across various actuarial domains.

Key responsibilities include executing projects in the actuarial space, supporting client engagements in reserving, product development, pricing, statutory reporting, solvency assessment, IFRS17 implementation, and business planning. You will develop Excel models, conduct research on solvency updates and IFRS17, and contribute to developing cutting-edge proposals.

Additional duties involve maintaining consistent standards, sharing knowledge, contributing to EY's profile through articles and presentations, and developing deep technical knowledge in Excel modeling. Presenting technical specialist knowledge internally and externally is also a core part of this role.

We are seeking actuaries with experience in the Indian/Global insurance market, possessing a minimum of 4 actuarial exams passed and 6 months of hands-on experience in General Insurance (Actuarial domain). Candidates should demonstrate proven ability to manage competing demands and deadlines, possess good working knowledge of actuarial concepts and methodologies, and have familiarity with tools like R, Python, SAS, or SQL.
