Provide expert advisory and consulting services to clients across the power and energy spectrum, including utilities, renewable energy developers, and government agencies. Analyze and interpret regulatory frameworks, policy directives, and market reforms affecting the sector.
Develop and review financial models for various power projects, conduct feasibility studies, and perform cost-benefit analyses. Identify opportunities for operational optimization and cost reduction through energy audits and efficiency assessments.
Support regulatory filings, tariff petitions, and power purchase agreements. Evaluate commercial arrangements, bidding processes, and risk allocation mechanisms.
A minimum of 5 to 12 years of relevant experience is sought, ideally within the power and energy sector, consulting, utilities, regulatory bodies, or energy advisory firms. A robust understanding of electricity markets, regulatory mechanisms, tariff structures, and power sector reforms is essential.
Proven experience in financial modeling, project finance, valuation, and economic analysis is required. Familiarity with energy auditing methodologies, energy efficiency frameworks, and sustainability initiatives is also necessary.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or related), Economics, Finance, or a comparable field.
