As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of robust automation frameworks for both UI and API testing.

Key duties include performing UI automation using modern tools like Playwright, developing and executing comprehensive API automation test suites, and meticulously analyzing requirements to identify optimal test scenarios. You will also be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and debugging automation scripts to ensure their stability and scalability, while actively collaborating with product, development, and QA teams. Your role will involve participating in test planning, estimation, and defining the automation strategy, integrating automation tests within CI/CD pipelines, and diligently reporting, tracking, and validating defects to uphold quality standards.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with 10 to 15 years of extensive experience in UI and API automation testing.

Essential qualifications include hands-on expertise with modern automation tools, preferably Playwright, and strong programming proficiency in at least one language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. A solid understanding of SQL and database testing, with experience in databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, is also required. Demonstrable experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline integration, including Jenkins and Azure DevOps, along with strong version control skills using Git, are critical. Familiarity with test case design, analysis, and identifying cases for automation, alongside maintaining and optimizing automation scripts, is expected. A good grasp of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies is necessary.

Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills are vital for effectively interacting with stakeholders and working independently. Experience in building automation frameworks from scratch and exposure to test reporting and monitoring tools are considered advantageous.
