Lead accounting advisory engagements for insurance clients, advising on IND AS 117, Ind AS 109, and IFRS 9 implementation and interpretation. Support finance transformation and reporting modernization projects, assisting clients in enhancing their financial close and reporting processes. Review accounting position papers, technical memos, and financial statement disclosures, while also supporting regulatory reporting and compliance. Assess accounting implications of new products, transactions, and corporate activities, and review financial reporting frameworks and internal controls.

Effectively manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, developing project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies. Monitor engagement progress, ensure timely delivery of milestones, and identify/escalate risks. Maintain high delivery quality according to firm methodologies and professional standards.

Cultivate strong relationships with CFOs, Financial Controllers, Chief Actuaries, and senior finance stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on complex accounting matters. Collaborate with auditors, actuarial teams, technology specialists, and regulatory experts. Present technical accounting conclusions and recommendations to senior management.

Lead and mentor a team of consultants, providing technical guidance and reviewing deliverables. Support performance management, coaching, and professional development initiatives, while facilitating knowledge sharing within the FAAS Insurance practice.

Contribute to proposal development, client presentations, and business development initiatives. Identify cross-service offering opportunities and contribute to thought leadership, publications, and market insights on insurance accounting. Build relationships across the insurance industry ecosystem.
