This role is part of the National Assurance team, specifically within the FAAS - Financial & Accounting Advisory Services division. We focus on serving clients across various industries, ensuring their financial reporting adheres to the highest standards and providing critical insights to audit committees and stakeholders. Our service offerings encompass external audit, financial accounting advisory, IFRS & US GAAP conversions, IPO support, and corporate treasury accounting.

Drive technical excellence by preparing and reviewing fund financial statements under IFRS/Ind AS or US GAAP for private markets, including private credit, private equity, real estate, public funds, and wealth management. Accurately deliver month-end P&L and NAV calculations in a timely manner, and prepare NAV packs, board packs, and investor allocations.

Leverage your expertise in fund accounting platforms like Yardi, Investran, and LemonEdge. Utilize practical experience with SQL, Python, Alteryx, Anaplan, Confluence, and JIRA. Contribute as a techno-functional fund accounting BA, assisting with data migration and transformation within the private markets space.

Demonstrate strong core capabilities in requirements gathering, gap analysis, process mapping, and leading business testing within an Agile environment. Manage daily journal entries, management fee calculations, expense accruals, investment valuations, and financial/investor report preparation. Ensure robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls are maintained to safeguard company assets and comply with GAAP standards.

Perform middle office functions, including P&L analysis, daily cash projections, FX transfer calculations, and contribution/redemption checks. Review general ledger exceptions and identify root causes for necessary adjustments. Accrue daily/monthly non-security-related expenses and conduct daily/monthly securities pricing analysis. Regularly review and test control processes to ensure high-quality client service, creating checklists for process completeness and accuracy. Interact effectively with client service teams to ensure timely and accurate communication of financial information.

To excel in this role, you should possess a Chartered Accountant or CPA qualification. A strong background in fund accounting is essential.
