This role is for a Manager within the National Assurance team, specializing in Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) in Gurgaon. The National team comprises sector-agnostic professionals offering diverse industry experience.

Drive technical excellence by preparing and reviewing fund financial statements under IFRS/Ind AS or US GAAP for Private Markets (private credit, private equity, real estate, public funds, wealth management) within the Wealth and Asset Management industry.

Ensure accurate and timely delivery of month-end P&L and NAV. Prepare NAV packs, Board packs, and investor allocations.

Utilize fund accounting platforms like Yardi, Investran, and LemonEdge. Leverage technical skills in SQL, Python, Alteryx, Anaplan, Confluence, and JIRA.

Act as a techno-functional fund accounting business analyst, focusing on data migration and transformation within the private markets space. Apply core capabilities including requirements gathering, gap analysis, process mapping, business testing, and documentation within an Agile environment.

Manage daily journal entries, management fee calculations, expense reimbursements, investment valuations, financial and investor reporting, and ad hoc reporting.

Ensure adherence to proper accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls for asset safeguarding and GAAP compliance (IFRS or US GAAP).

Perform middle office functions such as P&L analysis, daily cash projections, FX transfer calculations, and client contribution/redemption checks. Review general ledger exceptions and identify root causes for necessary adjustments.

Oversee the accrual of daily/monthly non-security related expenses, including management and financing accruals. Conduct daily and monthly securities pricing analysis.

Regularly review and test control processes to ensure quality service delivery. Create process checklists for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.

Collaborate effectively with client service teams, including fund administrators and valuation experts, to ensure prompt and accurate communication of financial information to clients.

Essential qualifications include being a Chartered Accountant or CPA. The role requires significant experience in fund accounting.
