The opportunity lies within the National Assurance team, specifically in the Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) sector, based in Gurgaon. This role is crucial for inspiring confidence and trust in a complex world by protecting the public interest, promoting transparency, and supporting economic growth.

Our FAAS team helps clients by ensuring compliance with audit standards, providing clear perspectives to audit committees, and delivering critical information to stakeholders. Service offerings include External Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPO support, and Corporate Treasury accounting.

Key responsibilities encompass technical excellence in preparing and reviewing fund financial statements under IFRS, Ind AS, or US GAAP for various private market funds. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of month-end P&L and NAV, preparation of NAV packs, Board packs, and investor allocations.

This role requires experience with fund accounting platforms like Yardi, Investran, or LemonEdge, and proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, Alteryx, Anaplan, Confluence, and JIRA. You'll leverage your techno-functional expertise for data migration and transformation within an Agile delivery environment, focusing on requirements gathering, gap analysis, and process mapping.

Additional duties include booking journal entries, calculating management fees and distributions, valuing investments, preparing financial and investor reports, and ensuring adherence to accounting policies. You will also perform middle office functions, review general ledger exceptions, and manage cross-border relationships within a virtual global team.

To excel in this role, a strong background in fund accounting is essential, along with expertise in IFRS, Ind AS, or US GAAP. Practical experience with accounting platforms like Yardi, Investran, or LemonEdge is required.

Proficiency in technical tools such as SQL, Python, Alteryx, Anaplan, Confluence, and JIRA is highly valued. Candidates should possess strong functional domain experience in private markets and a solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, including requirements gathering and gap analysis.
