This role is for a Manager in our National Assurance team, specifically within the Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) - Financial & Accounting Advancement group, based in Chennai. National teams operate across various industries, providing well-rounded experience. We assist clients by ensuring compliance with audit standards, providing clear perspectives to audit committees, and delivering critical information to stakeholders. Our service offerings include External Audit, FAAS, IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPO support, and Corporate Treasury advisory.

Drive technical excellence by preparing and reviewing fund financial statements under IFRS, Ind AS, or US GAAP, particularly for Private Markets (credit, equity, real estate, public funds, wealth management). Deliver accurate and timely month-end P&L and NAV, including preparation of NAV Packs, Board Packs, and Investor Allocations. Leverage your expertise in fund accounting platforms and technologies like SQL, Python, Alteryx, Anaplan, Confluence, and JIRA. Apply techno-functional fund accounting BA skills for data migration and transformation within private markets. Conduct thorough requirements gathering, gap analysis, process mapping, and business testing in an Agile environment. Manage daily journal entries, management fee calculations, investment valuations, and financial/investor report preparation. Ensure adherence to IFRS and US GAAP principles for real estate accounting. Consolidate books of accounts for subsidiaries and SPVs, scrutinize ledgers, and analyze accounts periodically. Oversee capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations, while effectively managing global virtual teams and cross-border relationships. Maintain robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Perform middle office functions, including P&L analysis and cash projections. Review general ledger exceptions and accrue daily/monthly non-security-related expenses. Conduct securities pricing analysis and regularly test control processes to ensure service quality. Create checklists for process completeness and accuracy. Liaise with client service teams for timely and accurate financial information delivery.

To excel in this role, you should be a Chartered Accountant or CPA with substantial experience in Fund Accounting.
