Drive technical excellence by providing expert advice on complex accounting topics such as business combinations, consolidation, shared-based payments, and financial instruments. Collaborate with on-shore technical accounting teams to research and address U.S. GAAP and IFRS pronouncements. Take primary responsibility for project management, ensuring seamless information flow and coordination among cross-functional finance teams. Manage accounting matters through all project stages, from initial client proposals to audit conclusion. Conduct in-depth research on client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies. Offer comprehensive technical accounting guidance on complex issues and transactions, including business combinations, consolidation, revenue recognition, and lease accounting. Prepare financial statements, accounting policies, and ensure strong governance. Provide robust audit support.

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in an advisory role. The ideal candidate will have managed teams of 20+ individuals and possess advanced skills in technical accounting matters, including whitepaper development on significant issues like consolidation and IFRS 15/16. Experience with GAAP conversions across different standards (IFRS, US GAAP) is essential. Prior hands-on consulting experience as a solution or service line lead at a Big 4 or top-tier consulting firm is highly valued. Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA (US), or ACCA (UK) are required. A minimum of 10-12 years of post-qualification experience in Assurance is necessary, with at least 3 years specifically in Financial Accounting and Advisory Services. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively, solve complex problems with practical solutions, and possess an agile, curious, and adaptable approach.
