The National Assurance team within EY focuses on sector-agnostic engagements, providing well-rounded experience across various industries. The FAAS (Financial Accounting Advisory Services) unit within Assurance is dedicated to inspiring confidence and trust in a complex world by protecting the public interest, promoting transparency, and supporting economic growth.
Our service offerings include External Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPO support, and Corporate Treasury accounting. We play a critical role in ensuring compliance with audit standards, providing clear perspectives to audit committees, and delivering vital information to stakeholders.
Manage and execute client projects with a focus on technical excellence in regulatory reporting, particularly for banks concerning Liquidity and Capital Adequacy. Develop and implement digital solutions for clients, ensuring robust project management and stakeholder communication.
Prepare critical regulatory reports like Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), along with COREP reporting covering capital adequacy and credit risk.
Oversee the creation of Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), test cases, and design documents, effectively managing SIT/UAT testing and securing necessary sign-offs. Leverage strong working knowledge of SQL and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, or an equivalent such as CPA or ACCA, is mandatory. Candidates must possess 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience.
Demonstrate strong expertise in Regulatory Reporting for banks, specifically in Liquidity Reporting and Capital Adequacy Reporting, adhering to regulatory bodies such as UK PRA/EBA/US FED/RBI/HKMA.
Possess in-depth knowledge of major treasury products including derivatives, securities financing transactions, and structured products, understanding their impact on financial and regulatory reporting for global banking institutions. Experience with banking and relevant treasury/regulatory systems like Axiom, Murex, or SAP is required.
Candidates should be adept at creating BRDs, Test Cases, and Design documents, and proficient in SIT/UAT testing processes. Familiarity with JIRA, Quality Centre, or similar tools is advantageous. Strong project management and excellent communication skills are essential. A strong working knowledge of SQL and Power BI is also required.
