This role is for a Manager in the Assurance - FAAS (Financial Accounting Advisory Services) team, based in Bangalore. Our service offerings encompass External Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPOs and public offerings, and Corporate Treasury support including IFRS 9 accounting and implementation. The National team operates across various industries, providing a well-rounded experience for its members.

The primary responsibility is to manage and execute FAAS projects, developing and implementing effective solutions for clients. This includes identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and coaching junior team members to foster technical excellence and continuous learning. You will also integrate with other EY service lines for multi-disciplinary projects and contribute to thought leadership and marketing activities. Significant travel will be required for client engagements.

To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or an equivalent such as CPA, ICAEW, or ACCA, with a good academic record (first/second-time passes for ICAI or equivalent). A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience is essential, demonstrating strong IGAAP, IFRS, and/or US GAAP financial reporting expertise within large, complex organizations, ideally in audit, advisory, transaction verticals, or MNC finance/M&A environments. The role requires the ability to simplify complex accounting and financial reporting issues, an advisory mindset with a solution-oriented approach, and business development aptitude. Specific experience in areas like transactions, IPO preparation, complex consolidation structures, tax planning, technical training, or specialized financial reporting topics is highly valued. Strong project management and excellent communication skills are a must.
