This role is within our National Assurance unit, specifically focusing on Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) in Bangalore. We inspire confidence and trust in a complex world by upholding the public interest, promoting transparency, and fostering economic growth.

Our FAAS team supports clients with external audits, IFRS & US GAAP conversions, IPO readiness, and corporate treasury accounting. We provide expert guidance and assurance to stakeholders.

Drive technical excellence by providing expert advice on complex accounting matters, including consolidations, business combinations, and financial instruments, adhering to IFRS, US GAAP, and UK GAAP.

Lead project management efforts, ensuring seamless coordination within finance functions and across cross-functional teams. You will be involved in all project stages, from initial pitches to audit closures.

Develop white papers on significant accounting issues and provide comprehensive technical accounting guidance. This includes conducting thorough research on emerging accounting standards and industry practices to address client inquiries and regulatory changes.

Prepare financial statements, document accounting policies, and support audit processes. Flexibility for travel on short notice is also required.

Possess a Chartered Accountant qualification or equivalent (CPA, ACCA) with 10-12 years of post-qualification experience in Assurance.

A minimum of 3 years of dedicated Financial Accounting and Advisory experience is essential.

Demonstrate advanced skills in technical accounting matters, including IFRS 15, 16, consolidations, and business combinations. Experience in GAAP conversions and leading solutions within a Big 4 or top-tier consulting firm is highly valued.

Proven ability to manage teams of 20+ people and experience in an advisory role are key requirements for this position.
