An experienced OpenText Subject Matter Expert (SME) is sought with deep knowledge in OpenText Content Server (OTCS), xECM APIs, and integration technologies. A development-focused background is preferred, featuring hands-on experience with APIs, AnswerModules, and enterprise integrations, while minimizing reliance on infrastructure tasks.

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining solutions utilizing OpenText Content Server (OTCS/OTCM) and xECM for SAP Solutions. Key responsibilities include extensive work with xECM APIs, REST APIs, and AnswerModules, alongside building and integrating solutions through REST APIs and web services.

Develop and support custom AnswerModules and API-based integrations. Integrate solutions using REST APIs and web services. Collaborate with business and technical teams to architect scalable solutions. Provide SME-level guidance and troubleshoot application-level issues. Ensure adherence to best practices in code quality, security, and performance optimization.

Work with a variety of integration tools and ecosystems such as Kafka, Talend, Control-M jobs, webMethods, and RPA tools.

Requires strong hands-on development experience with the OpenText Stack, including OpenText Content Server (OTCS / OTCM), OpenText Archive Center (OTAC), and xECM for SAP Solutions (configuration and API-level integration). Proficiency in OTDS (LDAP, Entra ID, SAML configurations), AnswerModules, and xECM APIs / REST is essential.

Must possess strong working experience with GCI Power Tools, VILT, IRIS, Syntergy, REST APIs, and SOAP web services. Familiarity with messaging and integration tools like Kafka and webMethods, as well as batch and ETL processes using Talend and Control-M, is required. Experience with Java (core and integration), SQL (Oracle / MS SQL), API development and consumption, Unix / Linux environments, and Shell scripting (basic to intermediate) is also necessary.
