This role focuses on managing SAP ABAP development, ensuring the creation and maintenance of robust enterprise technology solutions. The position contributes to driving functional excellence and enabling innovation within the organization.

As a Manager in SAP ABAP, you will be integral to the Enterprise technology and transformation team, working from our Ahmedabad location.

Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms. This involves creating RFCs, BAPIs, IDOCs, and Web Services, alongside hands-on experience with ALV, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.

You will perform technical analysis, coding, unit testing, debugging, and optimization. Collaborating with functional consultants to translate requirements into technical solutions and managing production support, incident resolution, and defect fixing are also key aspects of this role. Adhering to SAP development standards and best practices is essential.

A strong foundation in SAP ABAP development is crucial, complemented by expertise in ABAP Objects/OOPs, Reports, and ALV. Proficiency in Enhancements, User Exits, and BAdIs is required, along with experience in Interfaces like RFC, BAPI, and IDOC.

Familiarity with Forms (Adobe Forms/Smart Forms), debugging, and performance tuning is essential. A good understanding of SAP integration concepts and the ability to prepare technical specifications and documentation are also necessary for this role. A B.Tech degree is the minimum educational qualification.
