Join Deloitte's Strategy, Risk & Transaction team as a Management Trainee specializing in Risk Tech. You will play a crucial role in mitigating risks and identifying opportunities to create value within financial and regulatory domains. This position is based in our Bhubaneswar CEC.

Our Risk, Regulatory & Forensic services provide comprehensive solutions, from strategic risk management at the C-suite level to cyber threat defense. You will contribute to building innovative risk mitigation strategies and enhancing operational efficiency.

Design, develop, and optimize large-scale data pipelines using PySpark, ensuring efficient processing of structured and unstructured data.

Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT workflows, collaborating closely with data scientists, analysts, and product teams.

Work with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Impala, optimizing job performance, memory management, and execution time.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment, while ensuring code quality through best practices and code reviews.

Troubleshoot data processing issues, contribute to automation, monitoring, and logging frameworks.

We seek a skilled professional with mandatory hands-on experience in Python and PySpark, coupled with strong SQL skills for advanced querying and performance tuning.

A solid understanding of distributed data systems, including the Hadoop and Spark ecosystems, is essential. Experience with databases like Impala, Hive, and SQL Server is also required.

Familiarity with ETL pipeline development, data warehousing concepts, and SDLC methodologies like Agile/Scrum is expected. Experience with version control systems such as Git is beneficial.

Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with good communication and collaboration skills, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Oozie) is a plus.
