This role focuses on supply chain transformation, optimizing transportation operations, managing freight, reducing logistics costs, and designing effective operating models. You will be instrumental in driving process improvements, implementing transportation technologies, facilitating logistics transitions, and achieving operational excellence across intricate global supply chains.
Analyze and enhance transportation and logistics processes for Road, Ocean, and SPOT shipments. Conduct thorough logistics cost and freight spend analysis, identifying value-unlocking opportunities. Develop comprehensive AS-IS and TO-BE process maps, SOPs, and operating models. Support the implementation and optimization of TMS solutions, including OTM, Track & Trace, and planning integrations. Create dashboards and KPIs to boost shipment visibility and carrier performance. Lead logistics transition phases, including knowledge transfer and hypercare. Perform FTE estimation, productivity analysis, and continuous improvement assessments. Facilitate stakeholder workshops, UAT, and fit-gap analysis sessions. Contribute to digital transformation initiatives involving automation, analytics, and AI/ML use cases.
A Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related discipline is required. Possess 6-9 years of hands-on experience in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Operations, or Consulting. Exhibit strong knowledge of freight operations, carrier management, transportation planning, and logistics execution. Demonstrate experience with Transportation Management Systems (e.g., OTM, SAP TM) and other supply chain technologies. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies like Lean Six Sigma is beneficial. Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Proven experience in client-facing workshops, presentations, and transformation projects is essential.
