As a Logistics Specialist, you will be integral to managing data center inventory and fiscal processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all aspects of transportation, shipping, receiving, and inventory control, adhering to strict safety and quality standards. - Handling manual tasks such as preparing shipments, receiving and verifying incoming materials, and managing stock levels to support operational needs. - Operating material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, for loading and unloading equipment. - Collaborating with logistics managers to optimize part flow and delivery, accurately tracking inventory movement and locations. - Liaising with procurement and data center operations teams to ensure timely and accurate equipment delivery. - Maintaining clear and consistent communication with vendors to resolve issues and align on business requirements. - Supporting a 24/7 operational environment, receiving, maintaining, and distributing parts as needed. - Transporting parts, racks, and equipment between various locations and handling sensitive client materials.
We are seeking a self-driven and detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and communication skills. A solid understanding of financial processes and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential. Familiarity with applications such as Remedy, Wiki, or Oracle Financials is advantageous.
Ideal candidates will possess an interest in computer technologies and a proactive approach to learning new skills. Prior inventory management experience is a must. The ability to gather data, generate, publish, and present metrics across various areas is also crucial. Candidates must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
