Join our Legal Entity Controllership team as a Specialist, focusing on critical accounting and reporting functions. This role is instrumental in managing month-end close processes, financial reporting, and billing operations.

You will be an integral part of both the billing and corporate accounting teams, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach are essential for success in this position.

Execute comprehensive month-end and quarter-end close activities, adhering to stringent internal guidelines and SOX controls. This includes preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, managing intercompany transactions, and performing variance analyses.

Oversee end-to-end billing for institutional investment advisory clients, ensuring accurate revenue accounting and timely receivables management. Calculate and record revenue accruals, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with stakeholders for accurate billing and exception resolution.

Perform detailed fee calculations based on client agreements, analyze contracts to determine fee structures, and conduct true-up analyses comparing accrued versus actual amounts. Record bank transactions for fee receipts and perform balance sheet reconciliations for receivables.

Prepare monthly and quarterly regulatory reports and provide crucial support for internal and external audits by furnishing necessary documentation and explanations. Regularly interact with finance teams across different locations and external auditors, requiring strong communication and collaboration skills.

Drive process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness, mitigate risks, and apply critical thinking to evaluate processes and controls. Address ad-hoc queries, ensure data quality, and resolve issues promptly.

A Master's degree in Finance or an MBA is required, with a preference for candidates who are Chartered Accountants (CA).

This role demands a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, with 8+ years being highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an understanding of AI tools are essential.

Familiarity with ORMB, FCCS, PeopleSoft, Tableau, Alteryx, Oracle SmartView, EDM, and Workiva is advantageous. Experience with US GAAP and IFRS standards is also preferred. A strong commitment to excellence and client service is paramount.
