We are seeking a Lead Technical Program Manager to join our Core Payments - Network & Digital Payment Services team. This role is pivotal in driving our eCommerce product and platform strategy forward through continuous innovation and problem-solving. You will be instrumental in managing the successful delivery of multiple projects and programs, ensuring alignment with our product and engineering strategic goals and quality standards.
As a Lead Technical Program Manager, you will meticulously plan, execute, and deliver technology projects from inception to completion. You will proactively oversee the end-to-end delivery of engineering work, collaborating closely with engineering teams and all dependent organizations.
Your responsibilities include reporting on progress, ensuring all dependencies are managed, and operating effectively across teams and architectures. You will bridge gaps in processes and systems, removing any blocking issues to facilitate successful delivery. A key aspect of this role involves gaining a deep understanding of the design approaches and technologies within your area, always prioritizing the customer experience and the efficiency of build and delivery processes.
We are looking for an individual with demonstrated experience in defining and building large-scale cloud-native software products, coupled with a profound understanding of their underlying platform capabilities and technologies. You should possess a proven track record of breaking down complex problems, organizing work effectively, planning sprints, and delivering technical programs using agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
This role demands technical acumen to navigate software engineering challenges, communicate effectively with engineers, scope technical programs, and identify potential technical risks. You will be expected to thrive on diving deep into platform capabilities and underlying technologies. A strong foundation in software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations, is essential. You should be adept at recognizing complex designs and proposing simplified solutions in collaboration with software design engineers, principals, and other TPMs.
