Our mission is to create an inclusive digital economy where everyone can thrive through secure, simple, smart, and accessible transactions. We are seeking a Lead Technical Program Manager to enhance our customer experience strategy through continuous innovation and problem-solving.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated and intellectually curious individual with a passion for the customer journey and an entrepreneurial spirit. Join our fast-paced environment, developing cutting-edge payment authentication and security solutions. You will manage projects and initiatives within the development lifecycle of Mastercard's e-commerce payment authentication platform.
As a Lead Technical Program Manager, you will leverage the SAFe Agile framework to facilitate ceremonies and ensure SCRUM teams meet their sprint and PI commitments. You will prepare and deliver status presentations and reports to program leadership. Responsibilities include coordinating with other teams, participating in scrum-of-scrum and Release Train Engineer (RTE) meetings, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class solutions.
You will support self-organizing teams by facilitating communication, removing impediments, and providing coaching. A key aspect is guiding teams on Agile/Scrum practices, proactively monitoring project health and quality, and communicating effectively with leadership throughout the project lifecycle. You will also act as a liaison between stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of dependencies from shared technical teams.
We are looking for a candidate with 7-10 years of experience in Project Management or as a Scrum Master. A strong understanding of Agile methodology and its various applications is essential. The ideal candidate is high-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive, capable of performing under pressure in an independent environment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required, along with strong relationship-building, collaboration, and organizational abilities. Experience in project management is mandatory, and prior exposure to SAFe Agile is highly preferred. You will be instrumental in helping teams achieve excellence in quality, predictability, flow, and velocity, while also fostering a high-performing team environment. This includes guiding teams through conflicts and opportunities for growth, escalating issues appropriately when internal processes are insufficient.
