Spearhead the design, development, and integration of advanced medical imaging solutions for Molecular Imaging install base systems.
Address complex technical challenges through system-level troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root cause analysis.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, hardware engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
Create and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline system deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes.
Define and meticulously document system architectures, specifications, and operational procedures.
Provide essential technical guidance and mentorship to emerging engineers.
Uphold compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and company policies for medical devices.
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide critical system support when needed.
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) is required, along with a minimum of 6 years of experience in system engineering. A strong background in complex, high-reliability systems is essential.
Demonstrated expertise in operating systems (Linux, Windows), networking protocols, and virtualization technologies is crucial. Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash) and one compiled language (e.g., C++, Java) is necessary.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is considered a significant advantage. Familiarity with medical imaging modalities (CT, MRI, X-ray) and industry standards (DICOM, HL7) is highly desirable.
Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are a must. The ability to thrive both independently and as part of a dynamic, global team is expected.
