Responsibilities

Represent the design team throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial requirements to design transfer, ensuring adherence to design control processes.

Lead the development of requirements, architecture, system analysis, risk assessment, cybersecurity, integration, testing, and field support. Ensure customer satisfaction through effective corrective and preventative actions.

Oversee verification and validation planning and execution, working with Verification Leads to define and benchmark product quality and non-functional requirements.

Conduct detailed comparative analyses of solution options to ensure scalability, sustainability, and fault tolerance.

Manage technical program risks, integration challenges, and design trade-offs by collaborating closely with diverse, cross-site teams.

Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Design History File (DHF) readiness to support regulatory compliance and commercialization of CT programs.

Contribute to product strategy, drive critical architecture decisions, and develop innovative solutions for complex customer challenges.

Provide technical leadership and define, develop, and evolve designs within a fast-paced, agile environment, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and infrastructure.

Qualifications

A strong foundation in Engineering/Technology and Systems Architecture and Design is essential, comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Significant experience working with Imaging modalities and fulfilling Lead System Designer responsibilities is required.

Demonstrated experience in the design and development of Hardware, Software, and Systems, particularly within medical devices like CT and PET-CT, is highly preferred.

Expertise in collaborating with various stakeholders, influencing decision-making, and possessing a strategic outlook are crucial. A proven history of successful problem definition, rigorous architectural/design practices, technical decomposition, and project estimation is expected.

Proficiency in analyzing and developing design requirements at a domain level, aligning architectural needs with system development strategy and regulatory mandates. Candidates must show a demonstrated ability to achieve project goals while meeting quality, performance, and schedule objectives.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary, including the ability to effectively evaluate information, anticipate obstacles, and develop proactive resolution plans. Experience working with global teams, including time-zone flexibility, and the ability to mentor and govern team members are desired.
