This Lead Software Integration Engineer role is pivotal in driving quality, engineering excellence, and delivery within complex projects.
The position involves independently contributing to intricate scenarios and supporting overarching quality and engineering objectives.
Key responsibilities include designing, executing, and maintaining tests to validate intricate interactions across integrated systems, services, data flows, interfaces, and dependencies. You will also maintain QA processes and standards to prevent defects, optimize performance, and ensure customer satisfaction and compliance.
The role emphasizes a strong understanding of requirements management, SDLC best practices, systems integration, web services, troubleshooting, and workflow management. You will act as a key contributor, providing informal coaching to team members and helping to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions.
We are seeking a Lead Software Integration Engineer with robust experience in agile work management, collaboration, integration testing, quality assurance, requirements management, SDLC practices, systems integration, troubleshooting, web services, and workflow management.
Your role will involve planning, prioritizing, and managing work using agile methodologies for iterative delivery, fostering collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement. You will also partner with engineering teams to assess source code, identify issues, enhance quality, and promote maintainability and coding best practices.
The ideal candidate possesses strong experience in quality engineering, test strategy, planning, automation, QA, and validation within complex technology programs. Hands-on expertise with UI, API, backend, and integration automation tools such as Playwright and Cypress is essential. You should also have significant experience in API integration testing, backend validation, web services, and system interoperability.
Experience with API performance testing tools like Gatling and BlazeMeter, along with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across systems, applications, services, environments, and networks, is required. Familiarity with Git, Jira, XRay, Insomnia, and cloud platforms, ideally Azure, is expected. The ability to lead teams, support proof-of-concepts, mentor others, and influence scalable quality practices is crucial. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, adaptable, continuous-improvement mindset are vital.
